Primary Care PhysiciansSelecting a Primary Care Physician (PCP) is an important decision. You can find a great PCP at Health-e-Care here in Fort Worth. We offer a full array of primary care services for patients of any age. We provide preventative and compassionate care and specialize in serving those with one or more chronic conditions.

We have strong experience in:

Internal medicine: These physicians use their clinical expertise to diagnose and care for adults. After medical school, they spend at least three more years learning how to prevent, diagnose, and treat diseases that affect adults. They’re sometimes called “internists,” “general internists,” or “doctors of internal medicine,” but they’re not “interns,” who are doctors in their first year of training. Although internists can be PCPs, they’re not “family physicians,” “family practitioners,” or “general practitioners,” whose training is not solely concentrated on adults and may include surgery, obstetrics and pediatrics.

Pediatrics: Pediatricians care for children and young adults through 21 years of age and, like internists, treat a broad spectrum of conditions. A focus of their training involves understanding that a child is not just a small adult and it’s necessary to address not only a child’s physical but emotional and social development.

Med-Peds: These physicians are dual trained in internal medicine and pediatrics; they have completed a combined residency in both fields. Their training is identical to that of internists and pediatricians but longer since both fields must be mastered.

No matter what type of care you need, our team can provide it and exceed your expectations. Please contact us to schedule an appointment or to ask any questions you may have.
